The Westboro Baptist Church believes that God lets America's soldiers die because we have "accepted" homosexuality and abortion in society. Makes perfect sense.

The paradox that is conservative politics. Pro-life. Meaning, promote life, protect life, proliferate life. Okay makes sense, conservatives are against abortion, because abortion ends the life of a developing “fetus” or “human” (not here to debate abortion per se, that’s a matter of philosophy that requires a deep analysis that I’m not addressing at this moment).  But, does Pro-life in the conservative context only apply to the “unborn”? What about the currently living, like our own American citizens, Iraqi citizens, Pakastani citizens, Afghani citizens? Well I mean conservatives tend to overwhelmingly support war (a war based on lies, a war for hegemony, a war for natural resources), and war tends to DESTROY LIFE. So if someone is Pro-Life, shouldn’t they promote life, in all aspects? Oh that would just be too much to ask….

But now the paradox, the contradiction that is mainstream conservative politics has come up with some new bullshit that is beyond any form of comprehensible logic (see http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/02/15/south-dakota-gop-pushes-bill-to-legalize-homicide-in-defense-of-the-unborn/). Basically, if you live in the state of South Dakota and this bill passes, and you are an “abortion doctor,” if you’re mowed down from 150 yards by some American Taliban religious fanatic National Rifle Association gold star member, who has Ted Nugent blasting is his ipod, while dressed in some off-season fatigues he got at the military outlet (they have great deals on thermals, levis and dickies by the way) then the your assassin can essentially claim self-defense. It’s a legally sound argument, if you accept the notion that a fetus is a human, a person, well then it’s just defense of a third person. But society hasn’t accepted that notion, and its absolutely nutty to reduce matters to “an eye for an eye”: you take a life, I take yours, especially if you label yourself “pro-life.” Taking a life to show your pro-life?… Passing a bill to essentially promote armed “pro-lifers” to burst into Planned Parenthoods and start knocking off doctors with SKS-type assault rifles  is a bit ehh backwards. Retarded (that’s directed at you Mrs. Palin).

I don’t have a problem with the idea of Pro-life, I have a problem with how its discussed in the media. What isn’t discussed is that a disproportionate number abortion clients are young African-American woman living in conditions comparable to 1980′s Beruit. What isn’t discussed are the origins of Planned Parenthood, its Founder Margaret Sanger, and her subscription to racist ideals like eugenics. What is a problem is that this matter is primarily discussed by men when they don’t fucking get pregnant, carry 8 pound bulges for 9 months, push out 8 pound bulges, and deal with the opposite sex asking them “when are you going to lose the weight.”

Abortion is a misrepresented and complex issue, its one part ethics, one part class warfare, one part America’s history of repressing the rights of women. Women with money aren’t concerned about whether or not they have a “choice”; they will always have a choice. Money equals power, so even if abortions were outlawed again, if a women with money wants an abortion, she can get one. The problem is with women who have no money. So if you want to say abortions are illegal, you better be willing to provide indigent women with means to: a) prevent unwanted pregnancies (ie education and contraceptives) or b) deal with unwanted pregnancies (ie funding to help them have a baby, and subsequently funding to raise a child). Well another conservative contradiction arises, they want to make abortion illegal but don’t want to give kids sex education- they won’t be happy until we live in a theocracy it seems, sex is bad, only good in marriage!

The ethical issue, well that has be determined by the society as a whole. Right now, society has deemed abortion up until “viability of the fetus” as legal.

There is another caveat to this matter. Biological speaking, the practice of abortion, is counter-intuitive. The scientific function of sex is pro-creation. Socially, the function of sex is to “bust a nut.” Herein lies the problem, scientific purpose and social purpose clash when the result is a child that is socially unwanted. However, scientifically, it is the exact result, exactly what was supposed to happen from the act. My take on it, men strap up; women don’t miss your pills. If a kid results, well, don’t be so surprised, cause that is the scientific result of sex. Duh.

"You have a great point..."

Republicans continue their rant against abortion…http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/02/gop-planned-parenthood-contraceptives/

So you’re telling me with everything going on today, no social security, no jobs, an actual national debt of $70 trillion dollars (http://current.com/news/92970308_us-debt-actually-at-70-trillion-forbes-2008.htm ), wars all over the globe, that here, in America, the greatest empire in the world, this, abortion funding, is the most pressing issue?….#bitchplease

So apparently Animal Rights Activists are only concerned with the lives of dogs, and no other animal. Apparently. Why not call yourselves “Dogs Rights Activists” or “Lassie Lovers.”  Its a bit confusing; when a grade A doucher like Chicago White Sox pitcher Mark Buerhle comes out and says “I wish Mike Vick would’ve gotten injured…something bad should happen to him for what he did to those dogs” it just assaults and terrorizes logic and reason (http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/news/story?id=6108605).  Mike Vick did do horrible things to dogs. He was sentenced to federal prison for that and served his sentence. Let it go.

In a country where hundreds of thousands if not tens of millions of cows, chickens and pigs are absolutely slaughtered in the most inhumane ways imaginable for human consumption, why aren’t animal rights groups more focused on Tyson Foods and other corporate giants in the food industry? In a country where hunting all sorts of animals is widely practiced, why aren’t they protesting hunters or gun manufacturers? Animals are animals right? What is this immense hatred for Mike Vick, while other animal abusers are simply left unscathed? Because most animal rights activist live in an alternate universe.

This South Park episode alludes to the reverence some animals are given that others are not awarded (I apologize for the overtly racist depiction of Japanese people in this episode, that’s just what South Park does, they offend everyone).

Thought #1: When a disproportionate number of those affected by foreclosures are black and hispanic, and a disproportionate number of bank ceo’s, hedgefund managers, wall street bankers are white and male, you’re going to have serious class/race problems in America.

Thought #2: Religion is the politics of spirituality. Not a good thing.

"so the Bible says 'eye for an eye,' what are your thoughts on our war in the Middle East?"

So the morons in the Pee Party want to change history: they want to prevent textbooks from containing any “negative” information on the country’s founding fathers (http://www.alternet.org/newsandviews/article/437887/tennessee_tea_partiers%3A_scrub_history_textbooks/). Laughable. Newsflash, America, albeit the greatest gift God has given to mankind, with it’s version of Democracy, Capitalism and the Chevy Pinto, has done some really fucked up shit.

Reagan, Iran Contra, Native Americans, Slavery, the Civil Rights Era, Japanese Internment, nuking the Japanese, the Bailout. and etc. That is the history of our country. Accept it. It is isn’t all peaches and cream. No place on this earth has a clean record. Every empire has “done dirt.” But for some reason, segments of this country’s population refuse to acknowledge the evils of our past. They find it Anti-American. I am here to the those people to shut the fuck up.

See, imagine America as a human being, with a traumatic past. Psychologist will tell you that humans tend to build blocks and walls to protect themselves from past trauma.  Depending on how horrible the past experience, they may develop an alter ego.  These morons who want to erase the past, are like a psychosis, acting as a form of denial. Prolonging or allowing such behavior only serves to create more polarization and further the dissension in America.  You have to address matters, not deny them, you have to cure diseases, not palliate symptoms or worse, deny them.  America shouldn’t be in denial. America should accept its past and use those lessons to realize a better future. For the record, even though America has done some really horrendous and offensive things in the world, it has also done good.  We have developed much of the technological and medical advancements in the world, and bettered the lives of humanity.  Let’s focus on doing more of that and less of the bad stuff, like invading other countries for precious resources or ripping off our own citizens for corporations.  And let’s knock off this political strife, Obama nor the tea parties, nor democrats nor republicans are the answer: we are the answer, we have to solve our own problems and not rely on anyone else. If there is any lesson to be learned from the founding fathers, it is that you are the only one responsible for protection of your rights. It starts with you, then expands to your community then to the rest of the nation. Get educated, KNOW THE HISTORY (don’t try to deny the past, learn from it), and make educated decisions. Peace.

Upcoming recording artist PARVONEH, also known as “Par the Star”, also known as “Par the RockStar”, also known as Par DeROCKshan, covers Beyonce’s hit single “Listen” from the 2006 Dreamgirls soundtrack.  This girl is on a meteoric rise, her origins gaining mythic proportions.  Initially your thinking, who is this girl thinking she can cover Beyonce??? Well I’m here to tell you to check that nonsense at the door, this girl can sing, the proof is in the pudding.  Her recording debut was done at the Inglewood, CA studio of the dynamic and award winning songwriting/production team of Woodworks, who also record their own music under the moniker “ParkCircle” (look out for them too).  Big things lie ahead for PARVONEH. Check out her voice and support her music http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Parvoneh/193562760658060.

It’s 2011 . . . the year of anxiety . . . feels kinda like 1999, you know with the Y2K but most people weren’t really tripping about some computer glitch . . . 2012, may be a different story. Mayan Calendars, Winter Solstices, planetary alignments, North Korea has a nuclear weapon, the economy blows, Israel wants to nuke Iran, some weirdo shot up a bunch of people in Arizona, the dollar is crashing, China is taking over the world, corporate greed, working class revolts in Europe, UFO’s, birds and fishes dying in droves like some biblical plague, Jay Z and Kanye West are apart of the Illuminati, Global Warming, peak oil, floods in Pakistan, earthquake in Haiti: the world is falling apart at the seams. It really looks like 2012 could be the end . . . if that’s the case is 2011 just the doormat to Armageddon?  What on earth can we do? Should I still recycle? Pay my taxes? Get a car a wash? Take showers? I mean if its the end then what really matters?

Well who knows if its the end. It might be, it might not- Can anyone really, truly know? I do a believe the world is changing, I mean that should be pretty clear.  But I am not too concerned about “wars and rumors of wars”, or the stability of the dollar; I’m just concerned with the day to day. Can’t worry about the world’s problems until I solve my own. Right now trying to find my passion, my purpose. I think once I figure that out, I can then focus on bigger problems, ones outside of myself.  Have a great 2011 everybody, it will be what you make it. Peace.

Now that he has gone mainstream (and based off the 2 new tracks staying true to his style) does that mean that lyricism and meaningful statements are returning to hip hop? There hasnt been an mainstream artist like this since early Wu-Tang, early Nas…he is cut from that Rakim cloth…good look for Hip-Hop. Weezy resuscitated it, may be Jay Elect will nurture it back to health. Good look for the game.
